Runner-Up Finish for Ahumada Jr. at Vado

Enjoying a return home Carlos Ahumada Jr. entered a USRA Weekly Racing Series event at Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park on Saturday night.

A strong field of 27 USRA Modifieds were in the pit area, and Carlos passed three competitors in his heat race to finish third.

Lining up eighth for the night's 25-lap finale he raced to a second-place finish behind Terry Tipton with Donavon Flores, Rocko Gallardo, and Ricardo Olague Jr. rounded out the Top-5 finishers.
