Ahumada Jr. competes in Kansas and Missouri doubleheader
Carlos Ahumada Jr. returned to the driver's of his Hacienda Motorsports No. 65x Modified over the weekend for a pair of events in Kansas and Missouri.
On Friday evening at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.), Ahumada started the night off with a runner-up heat showing but was one of several drivers that retired early from the feature. He pulled pitside on lap 15 while running seventh.
His preparation for the upcoming USMTS Masters weekend concluded with a stop at I-35 Speedway (Winston, Mo.) on Saturday. After turning in an eighth-to-third run in his heat, Carlos was a scratch from the feature.
