Ahumada Jr. continues 2024 campaign with Vado run

The last time Carlos Ahumada Jr. got behind the wheel, he scored a victory at his home track of Vado (New Mexico) Speedway Park. On Saturday, he and his Hacienda Mechanical Inc. No. 65x Modified team looked for more success at the 3/8-mile Vado track.

With 20 USRA Modifieds on the property for El Paso County Night, Ahumada finished fourth in one of three heat races and started 12th in the 25-lap feature. He ran into trouble early in the race and posted a 16th-place result after suffering a DNF.
